Anyone who is interested in creating art, teaching art, and/or advocating for art in our schools is welcome and encouraged to join us. In particular, we are interested in continuing and growing our own personal art practice, as well as staying educated and informed about developments in the Art and Art Education community, both locally and on a broader scale.

Our Mission:
- TO FURTHER the interests of art and art education in the community through its schools.
- TO PROMOTE professional growth among the members through the fostering of social fellowship based on common backgrounds, problems and interests.
- TO ENCOURAGE Creative growth among the members through the sponsorship of annual art teachers’ exhibits, workshops, tours and other related activities.
- TO PURSUE a course of action that will keep art education before the public as a positive force.
- TO FORM a strong and solid group that will be able to express the opinions of the Milwaukee area art educators on issues affecting art and art education in our community.
- TO PROVIDE opportunities for and encourage art teachers to involve their students in local, state and national exhibitions.
