MATA LAUNCHES NEW SOCIAL NETWORK; NOW YOU CAN POST YOUR OWN NEWS, PHOTOS AND MORE!
By now you should have received your invitation to join the ning. If you haven't received it contact Jeanne Bjork. The ning network features a discussion forum, groups, blogging and many more fantastic experiences. If you have been hesitant to join Facebook this is like it, but better. Life Membership Nominations Now Open
MATA honors some of its members by bestowing LIFE MEMBER status upon them. Life membership is given when a member has fulfilled the following criteria.
1. been a member for 10 or more years
2. served on the MATA Board or made some other significant contribution to the organization (financial or volunteered time)
3. has retired from active full time teaching
